Add your own memory of them

Not a question. A story of your own about them, in your voice. It sits alongside theirs.

  1. Open the Ask tab.The middle tab at the bottom. No Ask tab? You were invited to watch and comment only. See the note below.
  2. Tap Share a memory of Amma.The row with a heart, under the question box.
  3. Choose Video or Voice.Two choices at the bottom of the screen. Tap Start recording, tell your story, then tap Stop recording.
  4. Add a title if you like, then tap Share memory.The box says “Add a title (optional)”. Re-record gives you another go.
  5. Wait for the Storykeeper’s OK.You see “Sent · waiting for an OK”. The Storykeeper takes a look before the family can see it.
Good to know. Only people invited with “Can ask questions” have the Ask tab. If your invite was “Can watch & comment”, ask the Storykeeper for a new invite. Both can be held at once.
Good to know. In the Memories tab your recording carries the line “A memory of Amma”, so everyone can tell it is yours, not theirs.
The Share a memory screen: a round record button, Switch to rear, and a Video or Voice choice at the bottom.
