Delete a memory, and get it back

When a take should not be in the Library, or you deleted the wrong one.

  1. Open the memory and tap the bin.It is the last button down the right-hand side of the player. A sheet asks “Move to Trash?” and says “You can restore it for 30 days.” Confirm with Move to Trash.
  2. Questions and comments work the same way.On the Ask tab, the small bin in a question’s corner. In a comment thread, Delete comment.
  3. To get something back, open the Manage tab and tap Trash.It is under This library, with a count of what is in there.
  4. Find it under Memories, Questions or Comments and tap Restore.Each row names who recorded or asked it and says “Gone in 23 days”. After 30 days it is gone for good.
Good to know. Trashing an answer is also how you get a second take of a question: once the answer is in Trash, the question goes back to Waiting for a reply and Ask again works.
Good to know. Deleting a whole Memory Library is different. That is under Manage → Advanced, and it also has a 30-day window, with a ZIP download.
